Jim Mahfood, Tank Girl I was excited at the time when it was announced that Mahfood was going to do Tank Girl.  Kinda forgot about that excitement for a minute.  And then saw he was going to kick it as only Mahfood kicks it.  It’s a logical art progression for the character from Wood, to Dayglo, to Mahfood—but I think this stuff is standing out.  It reminds me a lot of the Kick Drum Comix stuff I love love love.   Tank Girl is an example of a series where whoever is picking the artists(Alan Grant I would think, right?) has almost the exact same taste as me in artist.  Ashley Wood, Mahfood, McMahon, Dayglo are some of my faves for any book.  So that’s cool.
