Hralfnir Cosmos. Character design for a longer barbarian comic that I’ve been writing bits and pieces of a script for the last few days. Also a Sergio Toppi study. Been on a big Toppi kick this weekend. He does that hatching style that I really love, and have been working on incorporating for awhile now. So seeing him make it work really emboldens me.
Don’t expect to see much on this barbarian comic beyond various character stuff, this year. After I finish up Hecate Snake Diaries, I’m going to take a few months off just to work on my technique, and experiment in a few different mediums. I want the aformentioned Barbarian comic to be like “whoa” in terms of jumps in my skills.
